Established in the beginning of the 40s, the Fred Perry brand began its business from production of sweatbands which were used to protect racquet handle from perspiration. Next, the brand began manufacturing polo shirts, which almost immediately became a must have in wardrobes of English sharp dressers. Thought-out successful marketing initiatives, as well as the choice of a laurel wreath – symbol of glory, victory and peace - as its logo made the brand recognisable and popular. Nowadays the company produces a great amount of different items and is proud of its sports heritage.
