Reebok x Maison Kitsune
College culture and preppy style in the nostalgic English-and-French collaboration Reebok x Maison Kitsune.
About the collaboration
Maison Kitsune joined forces with Reebok - to create an exclusive collection of clothing and footwear, inspired by history of France, one of the greatest European countries. Sincerely, we don’t know what could be better than a collaboration of a French brand, born in the mind of Daft Punk band’s art director Gildas Loaec, and the British brand Reebok, leading its history since the end of the XIX century.
Designers of the two brands indulge in nostalgia, which can be seen even at a glance on the joint collection. As for sneakers, the French chose perhaps the most well-known Reebok model and framed it with classic white and beige palette, saturated with the spirit of Saint-Denis Boulevard and heritage of Regent Street. Also, designers added some nice detailing: for instance, trainers are made of premium suede and Mesh, which makes the ‘Arctic Fox’ model look so exclusive.
Let’s talk about other garments from this collab. Maison Kitsune wouldn’t be themselves, if it was not for their passion for the ‘preppy’ style. Great respect for college and baseball culture can be seen in this collection, made in red and white colors, using the best materials - as the extension of the previous lookbooks of the Parisian brand. Note that all the garments are decorated with both Reebok logos and fox prints - the brand symbol of Maison Kitsune.
