Puma x ICNY Trinomic R698
The successful joint work of PUMA and ICNY continues with the new reflective release, which has absorbed all the advanced technologies of the two brands.
In 2012 the Brooklyn designer Mike Cherman got into trouble: he was hit by a car while cycling. This unpleasant incident pushed Mike to the idea of creating stylish and functional clothing which could increase the visibility and safety of cyclists on the road. Since then ICNY’s philosophy is to produce practical garments with lots of reflective details.
THE HISTORY OF COLLABORATION
PUMA and ICNY began to work together in 2014, starting with the shoe model FAAS 100 Heartbreaker, a successful fusion of sneaker technologies of the German brand with the reflective technologies of ICNY. This year the collaborative work of the two brands finds its continuation in the new R698 release which bears both modern technologies and futuristic design. By the way, it won the award for the best men’s collection during the Californian contest named ‘Agenda Show’.
The model’s silhouette is made of water-resistant material Ripstop, the inner part is made of genuine leather, and the lace cringles are reinforced with plastic. Moreover, the shoes are equipped with comfortable rubber sole with the Trinomic technology, which is known by each and every sneakerhead thanks to its ‘spring effect’. The trainers also have reflective stiching, comfy insoles and logos on the tongues. The model is available in Brandshop in two colorways - classic black-and-white and floral red.
The sales start October 26 at 10:00.
The sneakers are available both online and at the store on Petrovsky Boulevard.
