PUMA x Hanon “Adventurer” Pack
Global sports brand PUMA releases the final chapter in the Adventurer Pack trilogy with a collaboration with Scotland-based sneaker shop Hanon.
Puma continues to delight unusual sneaker lovers with its’ 3rd release of the Adventurer Pack series. The pack’s idea is so simple – it’s all about 90’s and beginning of the 00’s when European sneakerheads eagerly went to the USA for vintage and brand new sneakers not allowed in their own countries. That tendency became some kind of hunting for rare sneakers from the other side of the ocean. At first, these trips generated new busi-ness projects and lately even sneaker boutiques.
This time Puma chose for the collaboration one of the most unique sneaker shop in Europe - Hanon - in the 3rd largest city of Scotland - Aberdeen. At the beginning of 90’s the shop founders, Toft brothers, went to visit their relatives in Huntington Beach, Orange County, California. They were so amazed by climate differences with their hometown Aberdeen. Their trip had its place in winter, so they felt the dramatic difference between cold gloomy Scotland and sunny warmth of California. Exactly these old “con-trast memories” inspired brothers for creation of 2 pair of Puma x Hanon Adverturer Pack: the XT2+ and the XS850.
The XT2+ and the XS850
The classic retro XT2+ made of natural premium suede, supplemented with the Trinomic depreciation system, badges with logo’s collaboration and a set of 3 laces with etching. The XS850 made of nubuck with impact absorptive layer EVA and leg fixing back part. Moreover, you can also find 3 pairs of laces and convenient storage bag.
