Hancock: the new view on British classics
This season we are proud to present the new collection of distinguished coats and shoes from the British brand named Hancock.
The label’s history dates back to 1819, when the inventor Thomas Hancock with his brother Walter began to create handmade outerwear, experimenting with new types of rubberized textile.
Later, in 1825, Hancock joined forces with the famous chemist Charles Macintosh and established the mass production of high-quality waterproof coats, raincoats and jackets, using durable mastic fabric with vulcanized rubber.
These days, the brand continues to develop, keeping its heritage. The label’s designers apply bright colors, modern tailoring and up-to-date details. All the garments are still hand-made in Scotland.
Inspired by the English inventor Thomas Hancock, who stood behind the manufacturing industry and practical application of vulcanized rubber, the Hancock brand successfully uses and reinvents the solutions and technologies, patented by Hancock.
In addition to outerwear, Brandshop also provides Hancock shoes, created in collaboration with Converse. Covered with a double layer of vulcanized rubber, the sneakers are protected from any moisture.
